Pulling the engine out of my 1959 series 1 D17 gas with power steering. What all is involved or needs to be removed to pull the engine out? If I take the bell bolts out and disconnect the power steering lines it looks like I can pick it right up out without splitting the tractor. Other than some misc wires, lines, etc am I missing anything?

You can wash the dirt off the body but you can’t wash the farmer out of the heart and soul

Front pedestal and frame rails have to come off. You can move it all as an assembly if you loosen the rails at the pedestal and have 2 strong friends. Myself and my 11 year old boy rolled the front out from under my series 2 wide front. It'd be a LOT easier without power steering. That cylinder made it fun clearing the front cross member. AaronSEIA
