Last weekend got to spend time with some of my family and watch my youngest grandson ( 1st grade ) wrestle at the State AAU tournament, this is his third AAU tournament and he has been fortunate enough to win all three years and go 37-0 this year, it's going to be fun watching him for the coming years.

I would like to thank all of you for the kind words .I can't believe how this kid push's himself, talk to his mother last night and she said he is already back in the weight room and on the mat training for next year, no his parents aren't pushing him he is a 3 sport participant and just has to be doing something. His dad is his coach for two of three sports ( wrestling & baseball ), Beckett is blessed to be able to be with is dad ( assistant head coach ) during the high school wrestling season and watch the high schoolers and learn from them. Both off his parents were three sport athletes as his older sister who is no slouch.

Those tournaments are great. My youngest son got to run in the national AAU cross country championship in Chicago and Joplin Missouri. They were fun. Look forward to going places with him. You will have fun.

IF, if he can keep his focus and walk life's straight and narrow line, there is no telling how far he will go. No way to know, but it wouldn't surprise me if U of I, UNI, and ISU were already eyeballing him. Best of Luck.
