    Posted: 22 Sep 2017 at 2:45pm
Could anybody advise me if the steering mechanism (worm, bearings, major interior parts) are the same on a narrow front WD and a 4 bolt wide front WD45? I have a wide front that keeps getting locked up and difficult to turn and a spare narrow front end from a WD. Would like to keep the 45 a wide front and thinking of swapping some parts but hate to tear into it and find out I was making a bad assumption.
Thanks

Call Sandy Lake and talk to there tech guy. As said, a few parts may be interchangeable???
But this sounds like it needs to be taken care of anyway so might as well take the wide front apart enough to see what the problem is. I assume you have checked the steering "U" joint?
Maybe jack it up a little and see what the issue is?
Pictures are always good.
