hey guys, trying to get my hands on an allis 6080 or 8010...need not to be running...looking to fix one up and restore...want a 4x4...cab prefered... I am located in wisconsin...

I wpould go for the 8010. We have a 6080 that has a lot of engine problems. Not turned up either.

Other than early ones having thrust bearing problems I hadn't heard of anything bad on the 6080 engine. Many around here with tons of hours.

Thats the problem with ours. Everyone sold in this area had tons of engine trouble. Maybe its thr climate! lol
