I just caught this show at noon today its on the History Channel about- HORSEPOWER-  almost everything they have on there ALLIS CHALMERS built - but they dont say the manufacture; they have big ship diesel motors, Hoover Dam Generators , and some huge 14 water pumps at CA. that pump  water a tremenous distance - FINALLY I saw the great ALLIS CHALMERS decals on a pump; last night they had the big cement plant at St . Ann ; and pretty sure AC built that too ; it airs tonight ,the HORSEPOWER show , at 6 pm central std. time ; They need to dedicate one hour to AC and all there stuff !!!

it is quite amazing the variety of things they built. I work in a power plant built in 1958. The turbine, generator, motors, pump, and much electrical equipment all says ALLIS on the side
Like them all, but love the "B"s.

Tractors were just a side project Allis did they just so happened to be good at it. Allis pumps and turbines and other things like that where were most of their money was invested.
