I'm cleaning out my old computer and I found some video's I made years ago from converting some old Allis Chalmers Demo Pak tapes Enjoy! UPDATE: I've decided to drag out my stuff and convert some more tapes. I'll post them here from time to time. Update 7/31/16 added the F2 and K2 tape. I recorded the audio into the computer with the demo pack player then I disassembled the tape to get at the picture strip which I then scanned each image with a little adapter I made for my 35mm slide scanner. I then used a video editing program to put it all back together. You can hear a click in the audio every time the image changes so I was able to use that to get the timing right. It was a lot of work but now that I found them I almost want to do some more of the tapes. I only did the ones I had duplicates of in case I accidentally wrecked them. I think I have an almost complete set of the tapes.

Jpessek, thank you for your efforts to bring these wonderful vintage Allis-Chalmers DemoPak tapes to modern video on YouTube. I've been indoors, resting/healing from a sinus infection over the weekend. So, I've enjoyed viewing all of these old AC promotions.
I never watched a DemoPak tape player at a dealership. Did every dealership have a DemoPak? Did the tapes resemble a VCR style cassette or 8 track tape size?

Thanks for the comments I'm not sure how many dealers had these. I think there was around 80 tapes for it. The look more like an 8 track tape I'll try and post a picture of one later.
