Help on adjusting this
Fairbanks Morse J4B3A
I miced the depth of mag gear and it does not contact slot in governor gear correctly
Thus does not rotate the mag when installed
Seems mag barely touches the governor gear.
Mag works great on test bench

Most have this screw to hold it back.


Some don't!

The ones that don't sometimes have the problem of the shaft wearing thru the governor cover.


On the ones that don't I have placed a piece if brass in the bottom of the bushing inside the cover.

I seen that bushing on the parts diagram and wondered if I could make a lil magic there. This is my first Allis B and have not ventured in the governor yet. Water pump leaks too so I will try to kill both if those birds next. Thanks Dick L!
