Good save! Some parts are tough to source for those, but well worth the trouble. Start at the carwash!

when a tractor has been through a fire like that what is the concern with weakening of metal parts e.g. frame rails or castings, internal trans parts, etc?

If it didn't get hot enough to burn the tires, it probably didn't burn out the oil. Looks like a lot of seals to be replaced, check bearings for grease burn, get any water out of it, some elbow grease to de-rust and some new tires, you are back to work.

Please don't send it to THE SCRAP YARD! If you do part it out I'd like to get some parts off it first.

Bill,
To add to what Glenn said, this fellow will probably never see another road to grade....much like a derby winner his job will now to look pretty and drive in parades, so probably not such a big deal here. actually, this one doesn't look like it got real hot....at least from the pics

Great save. It doesn't look like it got hot enough to ruin any of the castings or steel. In fact, it looks WAY better than my WC did when I started on it.
