Hi guys, i haven't even finished the 653 project yet but.... this loader popped up quite literally 5 min away from my storage spot so i kinda have to try and get it. At least thats what i'm telling the wife. I'm told it "needs liner o rings" but will run and load itself. Due to work i haven't been able to see it yet but it looks nice in pics. Any ideas on what year it would be? How about what engine it might have? Trying to get some idea on cost if i really do have to put in new liners. Looks like a good sized machine to have around, big enough to get something done but not so big its parked all the time.

Thanks

Well, saw the loader briefly today and it actually has a detroit 453 under the hood. Not quite what i was expecting to see. Not only that but it has no signs of any coolant in the oil, very puzzling.

53 series is wet sleeved, 71 was dry and 92 series is wet.  A lot of variations during DD time lines,
