D-17 gas or diesel, and 180 D.  Both are perfect size for any farm jobs big or small and very economical to run.

I use my tractors for jobs around the farm. In order. D-15 II 3 pt (bush hog), D-17IV diesel 3pt (6 row cultivator), D-21 II duals ( 25' cultivator), D-12 III 3pt ( finishing mower) I wish the D-12 had power steering . As a extra note, I purchased some personal things from Norm Swinford a few years ago and part of the notes where his recomendations for the D-15 III which never got built. We got the 160 instead.
My A-C tractors are like deserts. They are all good but some are better!
Nothing is impossible if it is properly financed

I always enjoy answering this question.  However, I think all know.  The B
It was the tractor that made Pop's Dealership.  It was presented at the right time.  It was so well and basically designed that it lasted 20 years.
An outstanding machine.  One of the three along with the WC and the 60 All Crop that made Allis Chalmers.
Good Luck!

Wasn't that a disappointment. I bet of all the AC tractors people will post as being their favorite, the 160 won't be listed.
