Were different fenders used on the D21 when a cab was fitted ? I don't believe any D21's had factory fitted cabs so I'm unsure who made the cab in question ?

Depends on the cab. I have seen a cab and factory fenders before. It was goofy looking.

With most cabs, the fenders stayed on but the extensions had to be removed.
