We had a forklift with a bad block and crank. Found different eng out of a fork truck.
This unit did not have an oil filter on it. All the places are there to switch out the old filter, but I have horrors of putting this on and running into an oiling problem like the 2800/2900 series 301CI AC engine. This unit does not look like it had the 1/8 pipe plugs installed by the builder where the oil filter line were in the old D175.
Anyone have any experience with these old little power units. The fork lift version AC500 early - evidently very early - units had this engine - either that or it is a I600 transplanted into a 500 frame. Again just concerned about oiling.
