Those frame rails do not look right.  Neither does that front axle - no wish bone.  They look like WD45 bits and pieces.  Tractor looks decent though.

looks like a good D-17-IIII with some farmer mods just to make it work for him. Read below. It's not mine. Don

We have for sale an Allis Chalmers D17 Series IV in great condition. This tractor has a new seat, new muffler, newly repacked 3pt.lift cylinders. It has good paint, after market 3pt.hitch,after market wide front, also has like new rubber all around. This 17 also has a good hand clutch, stays in gear, rides and drives the best,a really nice and tight older tractor that is a pleasure to own and operate. This is a good ole 17 to restore or to use everyday.I also have a loader that came off of this tractor that I would let you have, but you have to put it on.It is a hydraulic loader with a hydraulic bucket in fair shape. If you want the loader only I want $650 for it alone,it comes with an older bucket, and bale fork, none of which are AC.The loader itself is not AC either.WOULD CONSIDER PARTIAL TRADES,Please call 573-721-0043.Thanks.

The frame rails are WC-WD-WD45 rails bolted to the outside of the 17 rails,  probably to jury rig the loader on.  The listing says its an after market front end, kind looks like a Schwarts(sp) to me.  It doesn't look like that bad of a tractor, but I don't know about the asking price, it's more than I would pay.  But I'm known to a little on the cheap side.
