Can someone please tell me how I can upload an image?  So much easier than trying to explain where the leak is coming from.

Would you happen to have a picture of what it looks like, so I can order one?  Thank you for the information.

they are called Welch plugs or Freeze plugs .. used to plug casting holes in engines coolant and oil systems.. If you know the diameter you need, you could go to NAPA and get one... Buy a couple different sizes if you need.

Notice that the expansion plug is different from the Welch plug...  The Welch has a rim.

The expansion plug does not.  It is round, but no rim... instead, it has a formed depression in the center.  To install the expansion plug, you clean the hole out well (carb cleaner, toothbrush, a pick, and some paper towels) place the high side facing OUT... and slip it into the hole.  Then use a drift pin, place it on the center high spot, and give it a firm whack with a 4lb hammer.  The plug will press flat, and at the same time, expand to fill in the hole tightly.

SOME suggest putting some RTV sealant around the inside edge.  I generally don't, because the RTV will frequently degrade and then migrate into the area you're trying to keep clean and sealed, plugging up bearings or oil passages.  Some situations it's fine, so consult your doctor, ask if RTV is right for you.
Ten Amendments, Ten Commandments, and one Golden Rule solve most every problem. Citrus hand-cleaner with Pumice does the rest.

I am looking at that pic and it looks like an Allen head plug in the middle of it. Am I seeing it wrong? Right under the yellow tape at leak.

I bought an expansion plug and installed it like y'all said to do.  So far no leaks.  Fingers crossed.
