I am removing the narrow front pedestal and power steering group and wondered how much it weighs. I don't want to be surprised when I take out the 4 bolts and have it weigh 200 lbs.
Also I assume once I take out the retaining bolts that the entire unit will slide forward? I do need to remove the steering coupler and the pulley pump lines first but otherwise it looks like it will just slide out as one unit. Thanks

It took two to lift the one for my D14. I used a cherry picker to install it.

Steering coupler slides apart. If you've got the front wheels still on it, I'd guess 350 lbs anyway for the whole enchalada.

I took off the wheels and will remove the lower pedestal so I can check the bearings. So I guess I will need to use the loader to help remove it unless I can convince my teenage so to lend a hand.
Thanks for the help |

Call Sandy Lake. No where near that price through them. Probably closer to $23 through them. |
