D17 262 Governor

   Picked up a D17 diesel that someone put a 262 combine motor in. The governor/throttle control rod looks to be wrong and was jammed behind the distributor. Took rod off, because it needed an extra 1-1/4” to come down to an idle and when that rod goes forward it needs almost an extra 3” to run anywhere near wide open. Does anyone have a picture of a D19 setup or similar conversion? Debating a cable type throttle system if I cant figure out the geometry that will work on this tractor.
