Back working on the drawbar of my D15 with factory 3pt....can anyone give me a length on the drawbar.....I think the one that came on the tractor has been modified. It goes all the way to the hyd pump compartment and there is a bracket on it that I cant find in the parts books.....I will try to get some pics tonight.

The top picture shows the measuring...from the edge of the drawbar to the center of the drawpin hole on the other end is 51 inches.

The second picture shows the bracket on the one end. I cant find this bracket in any of the parts books and it is welded to the drawbar which makes me believe the drawbar and bracket are homebuilt. I would assume that with the cast hanger piece broke they fabricated this draw and bracket for extra support. I think I am going to use it as well but I am going to cut the weld and use a bolt through it.

The above pic shows the cast support bracket I was looking for earlier. As you can see she is snapped in 2 pieces

Don.  Looks like they made their own when the cast broke.  Mine had nothing left but the 3-point when I got it.  3 years looking and gave way too much $$$ when I finally found a bracket and drawbar.  The pin hole in your cast bracket in the second pic would have been almost the end of the drawbar when it was in the extended position.  You could pull the pin and slide the drawbar in when using the 3-point.  The original also had a drop in the drawbar, about 2 inches I believe.  I'm not at home so can't check mine. The non-backhoe industrial D-15's use that bracket also, that's what mine came off of.  Good luck

Wow don, that one is really broke, most just have one or two of the tabs broke off. Makes me wonder sometimes what a person has to do to break things like that.

No doubt. I think I am going to try my cast welding just for kicks......but I would like a picture and dimension of an OEM drawbar so I can have one built.......I like the idea of the reinforced drawbar but I am trytin to put it back to original
