I have my series 2 diesel looking more stock than when I got it. However, I am not able to get fuel from the tank up into the filters. I have 1/4 tank of fuel and I have had new seals put in the hand primer, but I cannot get it to pull fuel up to the filters. The primer was tested separately and it does work. I do have a very small leak on the 90 coming out of the sediment bowl if that makes a difference. Would filling the tank full make a difference? ![]() |

it should work at 1/4 tank, but if you look at that level compared to the filtes, the fuel level is only partialy up inside the filters.. a good test would be to fill the tank and test again... and YES.. any minor fuel leak can be a MAJOR air leak and cause loss of suction.
