There's also a really nice looking AC 160 Diesel on there this week. It's near Chicago, Ill. They both sell on Thursday.

Watched the D17 Diesel app. 1958 model D17 Diesel sell for 5800 if I heard correctly, and the D17 gas was something like 3600.

Did anyone check, is it a Sackett restoration? Might explain the price? Actually the seller might need a little more to break even.

I bought a tractor once on Auction Time. Was easy.
In the matter of NVH (noise vibration harshness), how does the D17's 6 cylinder diesel compare to the 170's 4 cylinder Perkins?

The gavel dropped at $22,650.00...WOW...Crazy Money... Any body know if there was a back story on this thing.I was thinking maybe part of an estate settlement, two in the family that couldn't agree on things so got put up for action.Just a theory.

6-cylinder in-line engines are naturally well balanced by design. The 4-cylinder Perkins I think had an internal balancer, so it should be pretty smooth also.
