I have seen some traffic in the past but did not do a good job of keeping track of it. I am wondering if anyone has found a cross over to a shock abosrber to replace the one on the D 15? I know new repo's are on the market.
Just wondering if I can do the Allis like I did the Knoedler seat on the Ford and use a shock on the market and tack the ring to the cover like the original
thanks

I want to do the same thing with my D17 seat but I am afraid tacking to the shock might ruin it, Don't know for sure though.
