Saw a post on YT about a guy with a Gleaner T. Noticed that the tailings and clean grain were on the same side (right hand). When/why did later models have the clean grain on the left side (A-F series) ? Seems like the M/L series had clean grain back on the right side of the machine ?

Grain tanks on L - M and N-series were getting wider and wider for more bushels of capacity. With the hydraulic swivel unloading auger where it is positioned, looks to me like it was a good choice to move things to the opposite side of the machine. The grain could care less which way it was transported to the grain bin.

I've looked into the tank of an L2 machine and the "floating" inlet auger that also raised the tank extensions was/is pure genius !!! Just wondered why the change over from the T to later versions.
