I just got my finished (enough) so I could get it out and do some stuff with it. Check out my heavy duty front end off of a 7000.

That is a heavy duty front end. Was the original front end shot? What are your plans for the tractor? Loader?
Whats to story on the tractor?

When I bought it I didn't realize how rough it was until I really looked at it. I pulled the original front end out from under to rebuild the engine and when I did I saw that it had been severely damaged at some point and welded back together and it was no longer straight. Plus it was worn out. My dad had just parked a 7000 and I looked at the front end and thought "yeah I can do that". It ended up being more work than I thought it would be, but I got it. I have some more pics I will try to post tonight. I bolted frame rails from another d-17 to the original ones and then welded the supports to those so I would be able to remove the front end if I needed to. The big tubes that act as the supports are rear anti-sway bars out of RoGators that I have worked on. I do have a loader to go on it but that will probably be a next winter job.
