After 23 years of ownership we just noticed our CA serial number doesn’t match what is in Norm’s book. It is factory stamped. Plus it’s a 6 digit code instead of the 5 digit code in the book. Our father purchased it from the original owner whom purchased the tractor new at our local dealer. CE 174699 PA
Any ideas? |

I believe what you found is the engine serial number. The tractor serial number should be stamped into the top of the transmission case on the left hand side (when sitting on the seat) beside the shift pattern.
