Does anyone have pictures they could post of disassembling and rebuilding a CA hydraulic pump? The exploded drawings in the service manual don't show a whole lot.
Thanks

Glad I'm not the only one who thought the 'manual' was incomplete. I took a lot of picture before I tore mine apart, found out WHY a good clean well lit bench is necessary, especially a lip on the back. Had one of the check balls 'roll' onto the floor, 2 hours later found it...
I do remember the 'guts' of one of the pressure relief valves( up front) wasn't clean.Took me 3 tries to do it right, but once everything was clean the pump and valves performed great.
I'll look for the pictures and any papers I have, PM me to remind me in a day or so.

Excellent Pictures.  Again on my computer.
Remember, the CA and the WD-WD45 pump are the same.  Just in different locations.  Also, remember that the CA pump can be idle if the PTO is not engaged.  We found stuck pistons because of it.  May be wise to run it from time to time.
As said above be very careful.  Use a clean bench with edges on it.
Remember, If I can do it I know you can.
Good Luck!

One word of caution, be certian that if a shop rebuilds it, that they pressure test it before it is returned. Had a reputable shop "rebuild" a CA pump which never worked when I got it back. They replaced all seasl, which were excellent to begin with. $375 of wasted money. I won't ever buy from them again. It was my second, very expensive problem with the business. I just expected to get what I paid for. stupid me.
