So how do you change the oil in the final drives on my 55 CA. I see there is no drains on the bottoms, so do I just take the whole pan off and drain them?

And then to fill....just fill up to the level of those side plugs?

Where is the best source to get new gaskets if I have to take the pans off?

You have to take the sheetmetal cover off, empty and clean it, then bolt it back up with new gaskets or RTV and fill up to the fill hole.

I used RTV, but gaskets are available from several online tractor suppliers (Steiners, etc.) and on eBay. It’s the same for the B, C and CA.

It’s not a real pleasant job, but it’s not too hard.

OK thank you. I got all the manuals for it and looked at them last night. They tell you what fluids are in it and when to change them, but doesn't show you very clearly the location of any of the fill or drain plugs.

Just want to make sure I don't miss anything.

Yep. There’s a fill plug, but not a drain plug. Luckily, once you’ve change it out, assuming no leaks, it can go years and years.

Yes, I just got the tractor so I want to start fresh with everything and then I know what I've got.

I know the trans/hydraulic oil looks pretty milky right now.
