I am trying to locate a part number for the carb on my CA.  Where do I look?  I am needing to get a kit for it, but I'm not sure what I need.  Any help would be appreciated.

My parts catalogue mentions Zenith model 161j7 or Marvel-Schebler assy. # TSX-486.
any of our great advertisers-supporters-members here would be able to tell you much more than I.

Thanks Steve.  I will try to post a pic tomorrow and see if anybody can possibly identify it.  I am not sure where the part no. should be located.  I looked earlier, but I am guessing I will need to take it off to find it.  I haven't gotten that far yet.

The carb should have the mfg name on the side of it. The model # is usually on a brass tag on the top of the carb. Once you know the mfg of the carb, a kit is not had to find unless the carb is not original to the tractor. LOL Bob

CA's had either a small bore Zenith or a small bore Marvel Schebler on them. The Zenith has a disc rivited to the top of the float bowl about the size of a dime. Outside number on the disc is the AC number. The number stamped in the disc closest to the rivet is the Zenith number. On a small bore M/S carb, a round tag is riveted to the side of the float bowl area. In most cases, the M/S number starts out as TSX- xxx then a three number digit. ie- TSX-470.  Once you ID the carb and its P/N you can get any part needed for it. If you're looking for a rebuilding kit, we have a whole wall full of em'. Just need to know what ya got. Be glad to help you out.....

I found out that it is definetly a Zenith.  It has a B14 on the bottom, and it has C21-78 on the disk.
