A friend has a C. He said the steering wheel has to turn almost completely around before it will catch and turn. I'm a WD 45 man and know very little about the C. Does the C have a worm gear setup like the WD's? Would appreciate anyones knowledge to help. Thanks

The gear box under the gas tank has a PIN that runs in the worm gear.. PIN can wear and cause a lot of slop... then you have an arm with ball joints that connects that gear box to a SECOND gear box below the radiator... The ball joints can have slop, and the front box can have slop... Normally jack the front tire an inch off the ground and WOBBLE the tire, then turn the steering wheel while looking at WHAT IS MOVING and what is not..
