What is the biggest 3Pt bush hog you think a guy could put behind a 200 Allis with front weights, I've been looking at a newer one and would like to get the biggest 3pt possible and best bang for the buck. TIA.

When I was in High School I worked for a farmer that had I very heavy duty 10ft Bushhog brand 3pt mower and it handled i fine. I'm not sure what the biggest 3pt is but I would think it would handle up to 12ft if they make one and I don't remebering seeing one before.

With 93 PTO HP you should be able to run a 15' bat wing mower I would think.

I run a 10' Howse cutter on a 6060 with a full rack of weights. It handles it great.

When talking about a 3pt its the weight of the mower that is more problem than hp to turn the mower.

From what I am reading here the concern is more being able to carry the machine weight on the three point arms that running the machine. I had a Bush Hog 3126 full mounted 10 foot cutter, my 190 XT's would handle it fine. I have never seen a full mounted rotarty cutter wider than 10 feet. The Woods 121 Twin Cadet appears to be somewhat lighter than the Bush Hog, and I have seen them as full mounts.

Yes, I'm a mechanic for MoDot and we pull 15ft brushhogs all the time with tractors that are smaller than the 200 with no problem at all, But they are pull type not 3pt. like I said it is the weight of the mower that is a problem. I would think that the 200 would handle up to 20' mower that is a pull type.

I've never seen on either, but I have seen a 12ft solid, not flex wing, mower that could have been mounted 3pt very easy. So I didn't want to say that there wasn't any over 10ft. The 12ft was built just like the 10ft execpt the outside 1 1/2 ft on each side maunally folded up.

Best to go is semi mount. Less weight, still have controll of the 3pt.
