Anyone had any trouble with "fit" on these? All 4 shift cables no problem. Hyd valve cables wont fit tractor notches. .400 VS .375 Not wanting to grind/file notches. Have to wait til Monday to call and ask "WHY".
Yes they are correct part number.

Yes, the last couple of 7000 series remote cables had to be filed a bit before they would fit in the notches. I meant to call them and ask about them.

GRRR  Well the clutch cable is like the hyd's....file and fit. Now it seems to not be dementioned correct from holder to ends. Still messing with it but have about used all the thread on both ends and still not pulling inching valve far enough....it is however easier to work! That old one was stiff out of the tractor.

Had to do the same with my 7000's powershift cable.  Cable was great, just a really tight fit in the holders.  I ended up spreading the holder a little for it until I could pry against it and squeeze it in.  Not a lot of fun, but it works great.  I figured it was a metric to standard conversion issue, since so many new parts are moving to metric measurements.  I'm still planning on using them in the future for my other cables, as the quality of the cable for the price paid made it well worth the minor tweaking it took to make it fit.

Talked to em today and explained situation. Old cable centered in housing measured 4in from "notch" to begining of thread and 5in to end of thread. New cable was 4.5 and 5.5  Basically 1/2in longer on each end. Too much length beyond notch to adjust. Used up all the thread and still didn't pull far enough. He asked if I could send old cable along with new to them and they will build new like old. Fair enough. It's in the mail..
