Been following a local auction....

'65 mustang sold for $70,000 + 10% + 13%.....$87,010 !!!

Typical Ontario car..rotted out....

'07 escape went for 13,750 +10% +13% = $17,091 !!!!!!!

only 5000 miles on it but 'problems'

$20 face value worth dollar bills went for $750 +10% !!!!!!

I have LOTS of the $1 and $2 bills HERE and sequential too !

Man I am DUMBFOUNDED as to WHY anyone would have paid these prices.

At least the buyers premium was 'only' 10 percent.....

Sense may eventually return as the markets continue their march down.

Did you go up and see the car? Pics don't look too bad. Bit of rust on the underbody pic.

The economy it terrible isn't it? people just can't wait to throw their money away. Even the homeless bums always have money to spend for beer and cigarettes.

If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits.
If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY

Having had 4 , 67 stangs I KNOW where they ROT out.....
it's all in the 'details'
NOT a 'K' version..
wrong carb
wrong air cleaner
rotted fresh air ducting
missing seat nut access covers
sun faded carpet on rear seat
the original rusty left front fender sold for $130 or $170 !!

also NOT the original colour !!!

would need a few more pix to add to the list but really should have sold for maybe $25k NOT $90K 'out the door' !
