 Topic: Another tragic accident

I just read a 5 year old child accidentally fell out of the cab and was run over and killed today in St. Charles,MO. The driver of the tractor was a 59 year old man that one might assume was the grandfather. Can you only imagine what that family is currently going through and what the accident will do to everyone's relationships for years to come?? Prayers to all involved and you can never be careful enough. Ryan

It turned out it was the uncle that was driving the tractor. That poor family will never, ever be the same.

i've seen so much of that thru the years...the officers I worked with all said my voice changed on the radio when children were involved in a call, I didn't know it, but they did. numerous times out in the field...being any type of accident or tragidy with a child...I did what had to be done, then i went off by myself and puked. it'll suck being in that family the rest of their lives. prayers from Nebraska.

Saturday when my granddaughter was killed when the 4 wheeler she was driving tipped and she and a friend died - yes it strikes hard and and today I even had a problem holding a fork to eat as my hands started shaking - 2 days later and it hit hard , son and his wife who are living here - well 2 basket cases and as the 4 wheeler was theirs - no idea what they feel on that - but kids have enjoyed it for 5 years .
It changed some and helped when two ladies from church brought over some food items and then a HUG and some exchange of conversation .
Son and his wife were making funeral arrangements today and asked if I care if granddaughter is buried by my wife in church cemetery next door .

The service for the LIVING is over , the life of the living now continues and it is up to each of to leave behind a LEGACY of who we are or how will we be remembered .Her full service was on the JOY she brought into our lives in the short time she got to share herself with us . Memories are now what we cling to or lock away within , for though she has been released from all worldly suffering we ae all left to go on and face the tomorrows for whatever they bring. Rest Well In The Hands of God and In the Comfort of knowing you leave all in a sadness at the fact we can not share the joy you brought to each and very life you touched . Grampa Orin - and yes you could share a cup of my coffee anytime and I will miss that smile when you asked me if you could .
