You’re going to need a lot of weight on the front end to handle 1400#…

That looks a lot like a Windpower Post hole digger frame(although shorter). They used the same frame for AC's and for IH fast hitch. They just bolted the fast hitch prongs in where the channels slide over the AC's rockshaft arms.

This from littlemarv LOTS of pictures in these two links, He hasn't been on here for a year now... I better call him and see how he's doing. https://www.allischalmers.com/forum/wd-farm-crane_topic89408.html And another from littlemarv https://www.allischalmers.com/forum/passing-of-the-punkin-popple_topic145222.html Another that has the dimensions on it. https://www.allischalmers.com/forum/lift-crane_topic88695.html This was one that Rick Maldeney (God rest his soul) was building at the time. A pic shows the brackets, but not real well. This one is LOADED with GREAT pics https://www.allischalmers.com/forum/wd-farm-crane_topic192428.html PM JohnCinMd (John Cullom) he has a lot of pics and he might have the book for it. Or email him. He was JUST on here a few hours ago. jh_cullom@comcast.net And THIS one gives you it all. MAYBE Dave still has the manual. And Dale Schafer has one also. https://www.allischalmers.com/forum/wd-farm-crane_topic38658.html |

I had a farm crane on my D-17 High Clearance single front diesel. Bought it from a guy that thought it was a wagon tongue. Sold the tractor and
sold the crane to Jerry Hagg.
