Anybody have one? I know theres lots of home made ones out there with lots of different styles and designs. Anybody have any pictures or ideas I could use to build one? Any designs I should avoid because of flaws?

We did not make snow plows for the B.  We used the Myers Snow plows.  They did an outstanding job and were well made and framed.
There may be pictures of them available or you may be able to obtain one from Myers.
Thinking, I recall one made with a plank on a cultivator frame mid mounted.
Simple set up and worked OK.
Take good care of my favorate.
Good Luck!

Morton if you build your own I suggest long push arms from plow to the drawbar, pushing from drawbar is the strongest point and gives a parralel to the ground angle HTH -- Mark

Morton,

Where in PA are you located- we have two C's and a B with snow plows on them your welcome to come look at, I don't have any pics.
I push from the drawbar on the C's and the B I push from the moldboard plow brackets on th final drives.

Mine is home made and came with the tractor when I purchased it.  It is on a 1953 B with the adjustabe fron axle.  The plow pushes from the mounted plow drawbar with two pursh bars.  There are two pulleys for cable mounted on each side of the front axle.  Cables run from the plow, up over the two pulleyss and back under the tractor to a pulley on the main drawbar, and from the pulley up to the lifting bracket for the right hand mounted plow.  I jave  modified it some so that I can use two cylinders tor raise it.  It workds good.  The angle of the plow for cutting can be changed with the plow depth control lever.  The plow angle cannot be changed.   Works very good.

I have what I believe to be a Myers snow plow mounted on my '49 B.  When I got it the mounts were badly hacked up, so I used them as patterns as best I could and made new mounts for it.  I will try to get some pictures of it tomorrow.  I have thought of drawing up the mounts in CAD at work, then offering PDF plans packages for $10 or so.  The plans would only be for the mounts, as a 6 ft Myers manual angle Jeep blade would probably be a drop in fit.  Is there any interest?

Yup I've seen Rod's website before. Never got around to making that style though and I was thinking of making something with a pulley system that goes to the rear lift. I've seen that used somewhere before and it would use a lot less material which would be great.
