re built the steering box + put 6 inchs back in the steering column. hope you enjoy

wow... I didnt know that was a THING.. I cut 6 inches out of 2-3 different B tractors. Makes them much more comfortable for me to drive... But it does put the steering wheel in your knees when your trying to dismount.

Very nice rebuild job !!

I did not know that EBs had Lucas electrical. I am sorry to hear that, ha. (I have a '66 MGB... at least there is less to go wrong on a tractor.)

That tractor looks great.

Great job and thorough at that!! My Dad had a 1951 EB many years ago and my cousin has a 1955 EB that my grandfather bought brand new. I haven't seen any of your threads from the past, I'm just wondering what year yours is? Judging by what I see I would guess '52 or '53? Thanks.

Hi all i think it is a  1950 it must have been near the time when allis moved from the Totton factory to the Essendine plant . Totton tractors where mostly made form parts from the USA the Essendine tractors used more parts from UK eg lucas electrics and radiators made in Birmingham and had a pan seat

Nice, I have a B but she needs a new coat of paint.  Still put her to work every spring in the garden.

Kiwi: Is your tractor 12V? I'm not sure which year was the first of
'the EB's' to come 12V from the factory but in '55 they were for sure.

I recognize the Lucas starter!  How is it activated?  By a solenoid or a mechanical switch as is used on my MG TF?
