I recently purchased the machine. I know a shift fork issue is occurring and it leaves me where the gear shift will go in any position but the tractor only moves in reverse. If I get it in another gear it bogs down but doesnt move the tractor. A friend will come out and take the fork plate off and realign the forks and it works until it happens again. Any ideas of a solution?

Sounds like there is a inner locking pin missing to let it shift into two gears at same time plus some wear in shifting. Needs taken apart and checked. MACK
