Did anyone go to the show and see that poor 620 or 720 that was painted IH red with MX decals?

Tom, I talked to that guy at length as he was right across from my tractor (the U).  I was really surprised when he said he bought it new!  I asked him if something happened to the tractor that made him want to do this and he said no so I left it at that.  Too bad though as that one had working rear PTO and 3 pt.  Other than the new seat, that had to have been a pretty sharp 720.

Albert City. Home of the Thieman Harvester Kit Tractor. My neighbor who is a Thieman has a late 30s Thieman on steel restored . His Tractor is built around Model A Ford parts.  Were there any Thiemans at the Albert City,Iowa show this year?

He told me they sold new and complete with engine for $365 in kit form. Business was good and Thieman Manufacturing  employed 150 people in 1940

Yes, there were several examples there.  Theiman also dabbled in a few other things that were on site as well.
