I was on AgTalk the other day and somone was fussin that he had an issue with his CHALLENGER tractor , AGCO service tech came out , worked on it - ready to roll- got to the field, no hydraulics ; SUPPOSEDLY Challenger dealers are supposed to work on them, the AGCO dealer guys computer put a glitch in the tractor system so a CHALLENGER tech has to come out fix\update it ; he was mad cause no\ or only 1 CHALLENGER dealer in the state and it wasnt close !!! It was something with the AGCO system is different than CHALLENGER , to me its bla., blah ,blah, -I dont need or want a computer on a tractor ; seemed funny , wheres the service ALMIGHTY AGCO ??

That problem is not specific to AGCO. One of the farmers here has a new Ford 4 wheel drive with a Cummins engine in it. The local Ford dealer cannot touch the engine, only a Cummins tech can do anything with the engine. |
