I have an AC 5020 with a AC loader . It has 4-wheel assist . My question is can power steering be installedd on this tractor and if so has anyone done so ? If so what did you use ? THANKS.

Years ago, I put power steering on a worthless chinese tractor, so yes it can be done...

Bad news is that it took near 40 hours of labor to bodge up a chrysler pump and a 70's Ford torino's valve and cylinder into a tractor that every bolt in it was a grade too soft and a size too small...

Check through farm show magazine archives, that's where I got the idea...Wink

Just say no. The front axle parts are hard enough to find and this might tear it up faster

I have a 12 Volt electric over hydraulic self contained unit  with 2 way cylinder.Thought about putting it on a tractor to use as a steering system.Have no idea how'd it work but using the electric toggle switch to steer would take some getting used to.
