Just looking to hear a rough estimate of what a 333 planter, in good condition, would be worth. Have an opportunity to buy one, but wondering what you all think is a good price?
Thanks.

333 is the frame type I think but might be wrong. What type units does it have, plate or air? What other options does it have fertilizer boxes ? Are they steel or fiberglass? What overall condition? I have seen many a good planter look as if it never saw a shed it whole life and others look like they just got delivered from AC. Many factors in this question. Ryan

It has 4 plate units, and all boxes are fiberglass. Fertilizer boxes, seed corn boxes, and herbicide boxes all in great shape, always shedded. Looks like it was delivered from the factory. Original owner had alot of orange equipment, had a large dairy and used it to plant for silage.
Any ideas Ryan?

You wouldn't be hurting yourself at $2500. Sounds like it is ready to go to the field and work.

I wish you could post pictures of it!! It sounds like a really nice planter and they are getting harder and harder to find. The fiberglass boxes are a big plus. I'm thinking Jim is pretty close because of its outstanding condition. Whats the owner wanting for it? Does he have any other orange toys for sale? It sounds like he takes care of his machinery. Ryan
