Here is a photo from the fall of 1967 of my Uncle David plowing alfalfa with my Dad’s brand new 1967 One-Ninety XT and five bottom 9000 series plow…my uncle was covering the plowing shift while dad was away at the national guard.

Nice! There are (probably) thousands of pictures around here, almost 0 of the day to day farm life. Kind of sad, so many of people I didn't know or can even identify.

Neat picture and story Matt.  My Dad was also in the National Guard in that same timeframe.  One of the story's I remember him tell was getting called in for active duty.  Dad was working ground with the D-19 and my mom came out to the field and got him.  It was right after the Kent State campus riot shooting in Ohio and Springfield IL was afraid there was going to be rioting trouble.  He said they were dressed in full riot gear waiting on standby for a few days till the heat died down.  Andy
