My tach on 8030 won't move until ½ throttle. Is there something you can adjust to make it work correct or does this mean it is shot

It was the pickup on mine. Its in the plate at the bell housing under the starter

My 8070 does that sometimes....then it's working again. It's adjusted correctly.

Mine goes up to 2500 rpm when you first start it, then returns to actual engine speed after a minute or so.
