So I'm back working on FWA 8030. The spline was stripped out of steering pump (as some of you suggested) and I was able to get used parts. I put everything together and it steers normal. I drove it around the yard and happy with the results BUT, when I drove it back to the customer, by the time I got to his place, I can barely turn the steering wheel. It seems like once the oil warmed up, it lost the power steering. Where do I look next?

Make da## sure the oil in the rear end is up to the TOP sight glass when sitting on the level engine OFF for 15 minutes. This is the first check.
