So my hi/lo cable continues to work free from the two hole strap inside the shifting console. Does the block spacer need to be mounted a certain way? Also, curious to know if you guys have modified it to help hold the cable in place?

Have saw threads worn out in consol. Replace Allen head bolts with grade 5 bolts 1/4 -1/2 inch longer. Make spacers for bolts to get bolt heads away from cable. MACK
