Have had the cab floor out going after leaks. When I pulled the mat there was a piece of angle laying by the console unhooked under the mat. Bolt holes line up, only one in console has threads and one on floor. Saw a Pic of a ragged out 7060 that had that angle on top of the mat with one bolt into console and one into the floor, looks only as a matt holder,is that correct?
Also obviously that console side cover has got to come off to get to the cable ends. How scary of a project is it to open that up?

Angle iron at the front corner ?? bolts to the floor to stabilize the console assembly. That was added when they went to the "T"-shifter for the Power Director and even tho it may be a Power Shift, still had that brace. It isn't for the floor mat.

Got it except the front bolt into the console. No threaded nut attached inside.
Now since I do not have a shop manual I have to as some silly questions. Is that panel on the side of the console designed to be opened up without all the levers falling apart? It looks as it has to be able to change the various cables.

Top panels come off and side comes off. Do not tighten ANY hardware until you have ALL the bolts started when assembling.
