i'm finally getting closer on getting the 7050 fixed.  the torque limiter went out and shop has got the new one in, and tractor is now back in one piece just need to finish hooking the 4 million wires up and bolting the tin back on.  i've not ran it since may, i've been running a 190 xt so this thing is gonna seem like a monster when i get to run it again.

I would guess you can get a rebuilt compressor for a couple hundred bucks or so and receiver dryers are on ebay for around 30 bucks.  You should always replace the receiver dryer any time the system is opened. My 7050 was converted to R134A and works pretty good, but there are other alternatives out there such as Red Tek and Freezone. Install a shutoff valve in your heater hoses that run to the cab, so you have a positive shutoff-that will improve your A/C performance more than anything else you can do.
I am glad you are keeping another 7050 in shape, they are good ol' solid workhorses.
Good luck with it!

If it weren't for the last minute, I wouldn't get anything done!

Please take the time to flush the system with a good quality A/C system flush product, I know it takes extra time and money, but if you have any gunk in the system specifically the expansion valve, it will be well worth the effort.
