My 7000 allis temp Guage is staying in the same spot way above normal and the alternator light is staying on. The engine isn't overheating but I'm scared to run it with the temp Guage not working. Any ideas?

Buy a new alternator and a new gauge...
It is a 40+ year old tractor right? A parts cannon is always so much fun. Especially, when it's someone else money. It could be just wiring too... like a bad connection. How much did you check? |
