can i get a 616 shop manual and parts book for a 616 if so what is the part numbers

Mike, I assume you are looking for the Ag style 616. Go to www.simplicitymfg.com and under the support tab is a section for manuals. Only owners and parts manuals are there. The Simplicity version is 4040, model number 990705, the 616, model number 1600185. If it is the other lawn tractor, visit www.simpletractors.com, on the left side of the home page is the cross reference table links for matching Simplicity with Allis Chalmers.

I gotta service manual for my 620 off e-bay pretty inexpensive. Its a repro, but is pretty clear for a reprint. Works for me. Covers 616,620, & 720 machines. I didn't git' a parts book yet tho.
