My boss has a 545B payloader and engine has been overhauled 2 yrs ago, now it starts great but when you wanna go push on the throttle(foot controlled) the engine just bogs down and quites. This baffles me a little cause ive been around alliss all my life and dont really know where to start looking. My 1st thought was fuel filter but ive never had that issue on any tractor before. Thanks in advance for any input!! Kurt

Does it have a "Simms" in-line injection pump??? might be a bad transfer pump which is bolted on the side of it.

On the FR 12 loader I had, the same as a 545 just a bit newer, I had a similar problem. I put an electric fuel lift pump on it and that seemed to solve the problem.

Check the filters then - make sure you have good flow as well as a good supply to injector pump.
Had problems like that on my H4D - filter plugged after short hours of use - bad fuel or ? Couple filter changes and no more problems.
