Can anyone tell me the weight of a 517 loader. I need to haul one and wonder how big of a trailer I need.

I don’t have the weight exactly but, hauled mine on a very light duty trailer. I would guess about 800-1000# with the bucket.

Would agree on the weight posted, if not 1000, not gonna be much more depending on what material bucket comes with it.
Pulled my 3K single axle utility behind a very light duty POS new 2015 Ford 1/2 ton, north of Wichita back to north TX and nested the larger bucket between the main boom with frame halves on each side. I left the bucket cylinders mounted on the boom, just wired the bucket cylinders up and wrapped exposed seal areas so they did not make contact with anything that could potentially damage seal areas.
