Finally got my new 410 running. Now I have a leaking gas tank. It's plastic....... Ideas for fixing? Leads on a replacement? Thanks

Depending on where and how big the leak is, sometimes a little batch of epoxy will do the trick in makin' the fix. You may be able to find a good used one on e-bay or be able to purchase a new one. Try Brenda at Sandy Lake Implement. They may be able to get you a new one yet. Some of these same tanks fit a lot of different model Tractors... HTH

The tanks are a common problem on the 400's. Unfortunately the tanks are unique to the 400 Series and haven't been made since probably the early 80s. When I bought my 416 the tank was missing. A couple years ago I bought another 416 for parts. I leak checked the tank and everything seemed OK. A couple months later it began to leak at the seam. I would try to fix the existing tank if possible, even if just for a backup.
